Italy: Auronzo Di Cadore Tournament

First of all I would like to thank to STEVE (Al’s brother) and 2 former Tornados GLEN and GILLES for making the team in Auronzo Di Cadore Tournament.

We have played 3 group games and won all

• vs Italian home team AURONZO win 3:0

• vs German team STRAUBING (winners of tournament) win 4:2

• vs Italian team ALLEGHE win 5:3

Semi-final we played against OLD BEARS ASIAGO and lost 1:0 (Jouni will update you on this one)

Bronze Medal Game we won 3:0 against team that topped group A (OLD TIMERS ALLEGHE – who had an ex NHL-er in their line up) and lost to German team Straubing in semi-final 2:1.

Winners of the tournament STRAUBING who beat ASIAGO 3:1 in the final.

Despite the 3rd place we all enjoyed the trip and lunch in Venice before safely returning home last night. We have confirmed to the organisers that we would love to be back next year again. Thank you all for such a great time. Raki
